Maldives 1/3 - THE FOUR SEASONS OF ANTONIO VIVALDI UNDER THE PALM TREES

The turn of 2024 and 2025 was truly amazing for our quartet! Thanks to the invitation of our dear friend - Martino Crespi - we had the opportunity to play concerts in two seaside resorts located on two islands in the Maldives from December 26 to January 4 🏝

The trip was very extensive in performances - starting from December 27, we played a concert every evening (on December 31 we even played 2 concerts, 1 on each island), where in total during our 10-day stay we played as a quartet, as many as 8 concerts!

Our evening performances consisted of 4 main programs:

1. A. Vivaldi - The Four Seasons

2. New Year's Concert

3. "ARIA - Tribute to Cinema" (with Simona Rais)

4. Aperitif for the gala dinners of the JRE chefs

On the first day of our adventure, we welcomed the guests of the Thudufushi resort with an excellent aperitif before the JRE dinner, during which we performed classical and popular pieces. For two consecutive days on the island of Thudufushi and Arthuruga, we played Antonio Vivaldi's timeless work from 1725 - The Four Seasons arranged for a string quartet, in which the soloist's part was played by our guest violinist - Alicja Dąbrowska 🎻

Guests delighted with our performance showed up with their families at each of our next concerts, which made us very happy and motivated us to work 💪
