NEW SINGLE PERFORMED BY WOJCIECH MYRCZEK AND ALTRA VOLTA QUARTET - HEY JOE
We present to you our latest production - our original version of the well-known song "Hey Joe" performed by the excellent jazz vocalist Wojciech Myrczek with the cooperative of the Altra Volta String Quartet.
"Hey Joe, Where You Gonna Go?" - a popular American song from the 1960s that became a rock standard. The authorship of the song has been wrongly attributed to the American musician Dino Valente (also known as Chester Powers or Jesse Farrow) many times. The song is also often considered a "traditional work", but the copyright was registered in the USA in 1962 by Billy Roberts. The song has had many performers, but Jimi Hendrix is considered the most famous.
We cordially invite you to listen and award the production with a "thumbs up"! 👍
Wojciech Myrczek is an award-winning jazz vocalist from Poland. Since he has been raised in the family of musicians, his musical journey has begun early with learning cello-playing basics. During college he has turned his interests to jazz and graduated from The Academy of Music in Katowice (Poland) in the class of jazz singing. He developed soon remarkable skills in scat improvisation supported by his vivid harmonic imagination. In his music Myrczek refers to both instrumental approach to human voice as well as crooning tradition.
